Dr. Zoppi Nominated to Attend National Seminar

Kathy A. Zoppi, Ph.D., M.P.H., Associate Professor of Clinical Family Medicine and Director of Fellowship Program, was nominated and selected by the Indiana University School of Medicine's Dean’s Office to attend the AAMC Mid-Career Women Faculty Professional Development Seminar. The Seminar was held July 19-22, 2003, at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, DC.

Dr. Zoppi was nominated, along with Dr. Alison Brasher in Neurology, to appear as representatives of Indiana University. The seminar is a three day meeting of women leaders from medical schools across the country, focusing on career and professional development in academic medical centers. The topics of the seminars included sessions about health care leadership and policy, finance, career planning and conflict resolution.
