September 22, 2003 "Entry of US Medical School Graduates Into Family Practice Residencies : 2002-2003 and 3 Year Summary" from Family Medicine, September 2003 Significant numbers of our students are still choosing family medicine as a career, Table 2 says that in 2002 Indiana graduated the highest total number of students from any senior class who entered family medicine (45), Despite the recent national downturn in interest, Indiana ranked 28 out of 124 schools in average of three years of percentage (15%) of students choosing family medicine for their residency training.
