Stephen Bogdewic, Ph.D. (executive coaching)

Dr. Bogdewic is Professor and Associate Chair of the Department of Family Medicine, and Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Professional Development, Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Bogdewic is currently President of the Indiana University School of Medicine faculty, and is also one of the co-hosts of Sound Medicine, a weekly public radio program sponsored by the Indiana University School of Medicine and WFYI Public Radio.

Dr. Bogdewic received his Ph.D. in Adult and Higher Learning from the University of North Carolina and his M.A. in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from Santa Clara University. He is past-president of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, and last year completed a primary health care policy fellow with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services where he developed a policy to define the role primary care providers can play in dealing with bioterrorism threats.

Dr. Bogdewic is a nationally recognized lecturer, consultant, and educator and has conducted over four hundred invited workshops and presentations to various professional organizations. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist and maintains an active clinical practice. His scholarly interests include professional development, leadership development, clinical teaching skills, and the quality improvement of health care.
