UNDERSERVED MEDICINE FELLOWS CURRICULUM
Throughout the year-long Leadership in Underserved Medicine Fellowship, participants receive lectures and discussions on health disparities, barriers to health care access, cultural competence in caring for the Hispanic / Latino community, chronic diseases and other selected topics.

COMMUNITY FORUM ON HISPANIC / LATINO HEALTH
This innovative program brings together the Underserved Medicine Fellows and community-based health care providers serving Indiana’s Hispanic/Latino population. Guest speakers provide lectures and discussions on a variety of topics related to vulnerable populations. Readings on selected topics are disseminated and discussed. Community-based and academic-based providers use this as an opportunity to touch base with each other.
