Inis J. Bardella, M.D., FAAFP

Inis J. Bardella, M.D., FAAFP, is an associate professor of clinical family medicine and is the junior clerkship director for the department. Dr. Bardella received her medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine and she completed her residency at the Washington Hospital Family Practice Residency in Washington, Pennsylvania. Dr. Bardella is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

Prior to joining the Department of Family Medicine, Dr. Bardella most recently served as assistant professor of family medicine in the Department of Family Medicine, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Here she served as the Southwest Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center (SWPA AHEC) medical school liaison and the director of community faculty development. Dr. Bardella has been the recipient of the Department of Family Medicine 2001 Seventh Annual Teaching Award, several Recognition Awards for teaching in the MS1 Ambulatory Care Course and MS1 Patient Interviewing Course from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the HRSA Recognition and Appreciation for grant review.

Dr. Bardella is married and has two adult step sons. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, bicycling, and skiing (downhill and cross country).
