Michelle Trandel, B.S.

Michelle is the professional services coder for the Department of Family Medicine. Michelle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Analysis from the University of Dayton. Prior to joining the department, Michelle worked as a systems analyst at NCR Corporation in Dayton, OH for 10 years. Michelle was responsible for analyzing and designing systems to support order and invoicing functions for the company. Michelle earned her Certified Professional Coder-Apprentice (CPC-A) and Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification in 2005. She looks forward to working with the physicians and staff on coding issues and proper coding techniques to ensure compliance and correct reimbursement to the practice.

Michelle is married and has two sons and two guinea pigs. In her free time, Michelle enjoys going to Colts’ games, taking walks, and cross-stitching.
