Brittany Sutton, M.P.H.

Brittany Sutton is the Information and Data Coordinator for the Indiana Area Health Education Center's (AHEC) Program Office. Prior to joining the AHEC team in October of 2005, Brittany served as Research Assistant for the Department of Family Medicine while completing her Masters in Public Health from the Indiana University School of Medicine.

Prior to attending graduate school, Brittany received her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, graduating with University Honors and Honors in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. Some of her scholarly interests include health education, health promotion, and improving the quality of life for the medically disadvantaged.

As a Master of Public Health Student, Brittany was involved in the Indiana University School of Medicine’s International Medicine Honduras Project which strives to improve cross-cultural medical education as well as improve the quality of life in the rural, underserved population of Honduras. In the future, Brittany plans to stay involved in the Honduras Project. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and staying active in sports and fitness.
