Donna Skatrud, B.S.

Donna Skatrud, B.S., serves as administrative assistant for Stephen Bogdewic, Ph.D., Vice Chair for the Department of Family Medicine. She graduated with an English major from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1973. Donna coordinates internal, state-wide and national meetings and speaking engagements, and all department travel activities. She prepares materials for national consulting, educational engagements and presentations and assists with research projects and grant preparations. Donna manages patient flow, maintaining medical records, scheduling, billing and patient satisfaction for behavioral patients and assists with student/advisor activities. Her responsibilities also include coordinating medical credentialing for clinical faculty.

She is an active member of the Arabian Horse Association, Indiana Arabian Horse Club, USA Equestrian, Eastern Crabbet Arabian Horse Society and other local and state horse associations promoting the Arabian breed. Donna's horses are successfully shown at the Regional and Class A competition level throughout Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, and Ohio. Donna and her husband Paul recently opened Skatrud Arabians, a breeding facility, in Knightstown, Indiana, specializing in show quality and family friendly Arabians.
