Shannon L. Cooper

Shannon is the Department's Marketing and Communication Specialist. She is the Department's graphic designer, web designer, web master, and public relations person. Shannon works closely with the staff and faculty of the Department and the Department's divisions to maintain continuity in departmental identity. She also works closely with the School of Medicine's public relations to ensure that the Department of Family Medicine's mission is met with the mission of the School of Medicine.

Shannon has two dogs: a Siberian husky/chow mix and a mixed-mix. In her free time, she enjoys photography, bicycling, and spending time with her family.
