J. Brent Sneed, M.D.

J. Brent Sneed, MD received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from University of Indianapolis and his Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed his residency training at the IU Methodist Family Medicine Residency. After graduation, Dr. Sneed worked at the Rapheal Health Center while precepting for the IU Methodist Family Medicine Residency program.

Dr. Sneed joined the IU Department of Family Medicine to enhance his experience of working with residents and medical students.  In 2005, Dr. Sneed received the AAFP Foundation Pfizer Teacher Development Award. He was one of 15 in the United States to receive this annual award for excellence in teaching.

Dr. Sneed is married and has two sons and a daughter. In his free time, he enjoys working with youth sports, playing games, and golf.
