Meena Garg, M.D., M.P.H.
Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine

Dr. Garg, Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine and Co-Assistant Director of Clerkship, received her bachelor's and medical degree as well as a Masters of Public Health from the University of Miami. Dr. Garg completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of South Florida/Morton Plant Mease residency program. In addition, Dr. Garg also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the Indiana University Department of Family Medicine.

Dr. Garg is has been honored with the 2006 Florida Academy of Family Physicians Exceptional Resident Scholar Award, 2005 American Academy of Family Physicians Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education, 2003 Philip R. Glade Generalist Education in Medicine Award at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and the 2003 Outstanding Community Service Award at the University of Miami Department of Family Medicine & Community Health.

Dr. Garg is board certified in both family medicine and sports medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Society for Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM). In her free time, Dr. Garg enjoys running, cooking, and socializing.
